How often should gutters be cleaned in Sydney?
Twice a year for most homes — more under heavy tree cover, where a single autumn can refill them. Blocked gutters overflow into eaves and wall cavities, breed mosquitoes, and in fire season a gutter full of dry leaves is a genuine ember risk at roof height.
How do I know you actually cleaned my gutters?
Before-and-after photos of your own gutters, every job. You see exactly what came out and exactly how they were left. All the debris is bagged and taken away too — not left on your lawn.
Will roof cleaning damage my tiles?
No. We use low-pressure soft washing on tiled and Colorbond roofs — the cleaning solution does the work, not blasting force. That kills moss, lichen and algae at the root without cracking tiles or stripping coatings, and the result lasts longer than a pressure rinse.
Is it safe to work on my roof?
For us, yes — the whole team is working-at-heights certified, first-aid trained and fully insured, with proper access equipment on every job. For you on a ladder with a garden trowel? That's exactly the job worth paying someone else to do.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the house, roof access and how full the gutters are, so we quote each job individually — and the quote is free and fixed. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need to give you a price on the spot.
Can you quote and do the job on the same day?
Often, yes. We always respond to enquiries the same day, and if you're happy with the quote and the day's schedule has room, we can frequently do the job on the spot — just pick 'Yes, if possible' for the same-day option when you request your quote.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can access the roof and gutters, you can leave us to it. We'll send you the before & after photos when we're done.
Do you install gutter guard?
Yes — quality mesh, properly fitted, with the gutters cleaned first. Good gutter guard turns twice-a-year cleans into an occasional check, and ember-rated metal mesh adds real protection for homes near bushland.
What else do you do besides gutters?
The whole outside of the property: roof cleaning and minor repairs, pressure cleaning, window cleaning, gardening, landscaping, deck builds and general property maintenance. One team for the jobs that never stop needing doing.
